the smallest of small towns, known for the "maltby cafe" which is really just a cafe thats over filled with families trying to get something other than the cheap crap they get at the biggest store (Albersons). the only 2 schools in it are the elementary school, Maltby Elementary, and Hidden River Middle School, you actually have to drive down to Monroe to get to the only high school in the district. Monroe High. Of course we have like 3 gas stations and we have subway and McDondolds. but to actually shop you have to go to woodenville, and the closest mall is in either Seattle or Lynnwood. I used to live in this tiny town and would argue to my dad because he said its not really a town. but it is. Maltby is deffinately a town
