A food made from parts of the pig. Parts are combined with spices and cornmeal and formed into a block of meat and cooked in a pan. After this cooking it is cut into blocks and sold in stores, particularly in many parts of the southern US. It is found in many grocery stores with refrigerated sausage. It is best eaten after being pan fried and is often a breakfast meat.
I had livermush for breakfast this morning.
