The belief that government has a right to seize the property of others, usually in the form of higher taxation, and redistribute this property among selected constituencies who support liberal lawmakers. The potential revenue is thought of as government property before it is even paid, much as the milk in a cow's udder is thought of as the property of the farmer, and not the cow. Only the interests of the left-leaning constituencies are considered, the taxpayers' interests as a whole are disregarded.
