A term meant referring to an advocate of Marxist totalitarianism. Countries with prominent Left-fascist governments (as of 2010) include Syria, North Korea, Cuba and Venezuela. Left fascist regimes are typified by secret police, a dictatorial government, ostentacious support for Marxist ideology, and a kinship with other Marxist governments. Leftist-fascists consider the term as an insult, and do not accept the term. But Leftist-fascists also support totalitarian regimes in the name of social justice (see "doublethink", George Orwell). Most everyone else, and especially victims of Left fascist regimes (such as the people of Eastern Europe) find the term quite accurate. Calling a Stalinist regime a "progressive state" simply because it is ruled by Marxists and is allied with other Marxist dictatorships is not accurate. A government that murders dissidents, executes people who try to leave the country, has no democratic elections and treats its citizens like chattel is more approrpiately called a "Left fascist" regime, and is ruled and supported by Leftist-fascists.

DU is the web-based forum/community for the US communist party without actually calling itself communist. Being or liking a mainstream democrat like Joe Lieberman is not allowed on DU. You are only allowed to post if you are at least as leftist as Karl Marx. Democratic Underground wants a US communist state so that all opponents of the communists (republicans, conservatives, moderates, independents, mainstream democrats) can be put in gulags or simply shot.

A muckadoo is often known by other names such as a liberal, a leftist, or a @#$% idiot. It is a creature that uses odd and illogical behaviors and speech patterns that it copied (sometimes with small variances) from another creature - usually another muckadoo. They are located throughout the fifty states, though are rarer in some areas while extremely common in others. Q. Can muckadoos be dangerous? A. Easily startled, a muckadoo is rarely of any danger. Because of the shrill sounds they make and their pungent odors, they are classified simply as a nuisance. Q.
