We meet Kristin at age seven, along with her father, Lavrans Bjørgulfsson (also referred to as Lavrans Langmandsson), her mother, Ragnfrid Ivarsdatter, and soon enough, her sisters, Ulvhild and Ramborg Lavransdatter.
