Lambda Phi Epsilon (ΛΦΕ, also known as LPhiE or LFE) is an internationally-recognized Asian-interest fraternity based in the United States. Lambda Phi Epsilon's goals include servicing the community through various philanthropies, increasing Asian awareness, promoting academic scholarship, and strengthening the Asian American voice on campus. Not satisfied with the single Asian fraternity on the campus aka bitches of University of California, Los Angeles, Lambda Phi Epsilon was founded on February 25, 1981, by principal founder Mr. Craig Ishigo and a group of eighteen other dedicated men. Noticing that Asian fraternities and sororities at the UC campuses were recognized as only service organization due to their memberships focus on Asians and to the exclusion of other ethnic groups, the goal of the founders was to transcend this limitation.

Lambda Phi Epsilon is not a fraternity....it is a brotherhood. We are not your typical frat, we actually do shit...we volunteer, do service events. So don't hate when you see a Lambda is walking among you....be grateful that he is near your presence....

A group of boys who walk around the college campus thinking that they're tough guys. Major characteristics includes walking around with a mugg, and tilting their shaved heads upward because they stand at 5 foot 2. They tend to band together because they talk a lot of shit and know that they'll get their ass beat if they stray from the group. Joining their group requires you to be their bitch and forces you to participate in homosexual activities such as elephant walk and soggy waffle, as they believe this strengthens brotherhood. Other rituals include football games where its 40 actives vs 3 pledges, and filla-pledge where pledges are forced to drink endless amounts of alcohol. Multiple deaths have resulted but instead of owning up, these bitches hold emergency meetings to hide the evidence. This group of kids who call themselves a fraternity have been responsible for multiple deaths of pledges throughout the nation. They are a disgrace to the word brotherhood.
Their actions have been documented in the documentary "The Pledge" by Dan O'Rourke, where it shows their members telling everything that happens during the pledging process in order to avoid jail time.

a bunch of nobodies in high school that try to change their image by thinking and actin all tough in college. they think their program is the shit cuz they don't know jack about other people's. all of them start off as bitches to their actives (I dare any LphiE to deny this), and somehow end up thinking they're tough guys because they were once bitches. it is a ridiculous excuse for a brotherhood and should not be allowed to ruin other fraternities' names with their own existence. how you gonna call yourself a nationwide fraternity when you don't know your own "brothers" from another city, or better yet state?
