John Walker Effect 

First coined by Twitter user @buggy_con, the John Walker Effect is when in any form of media the writers unintentionally make the antagonist characters

-Far more entertaining
-Far more believable as characters
-More sympathetic

-More heroic than the stale and downright evil protagonists/heroes

Typically you will see the writers project all the things they view as evil onto these characters in order to make a straw man to pit against their oh so perfect protagonists. However, this unintentionally causes these characters to be loved by the audience, for they are the only ones who

-Call out the protagonists' bullshit for what it is
-Have actual ideas and motivations that aren't selfish

These characters often have to be amped up to cartoonish levels of evil in order to try and make the audience root against them.

Rorschach from Watchmen, Tyler Durden from Fight Club, and Colonel Quaritch from Avatar are all examples of villains that suffer from the John Walker Effect.

Jonny Walker 

The name of the generic haircut favoured by a number of top footballers, particularly in the England football team. The haircut is a skin fade at the bottom to a fro on top. Rumour has it the haircut was started by Kyle Walker and monetised by Justin Carr. For examples see Jesse Lingaard, Kyle Walker and Dele Alli

-Call out the protagonists' bullshit for what it is
-Have actual ideas and motivations that aren't selfish
-In some way or other represent the ideal of the ideology they embody (since a writer cannot tear down an idea without first building it up)

Oftentimes these characters have to be amped up to cartoonish levels of evil in order to try and make the audience root against them, which usually does not end up working and in some cases just makes the audience love them more.

Johnny Walker's law 

Johhny Walker's law occurs when, in an Internet argument, an interlocutor posts an arguement so stupid he winds up pwning himself.

Named for a brand of Scotch which the man who inspired the law was fooled into sending to a fake person for fake information, thereby destroying his chances of ever being taken seriously again.

Johnny Walker Candle 

An extreme form of tealight. Pour a shot of Johnny Walker Black Label (or whiskey of your choosing) into a small plastic disposable cup. Set alight to the rim of the cup. The plastic will burn until it sets fire to the whiskey, at which point a blue flame will appear and burn for approximately one hour. Be careful with fire, kids. This is also not very good for the environment or your personal economy. Plastic should be recycled not burned, and Johnny Walker should be drunk and not burned. It is very beautiful, on the other hand.

Man, we made some Johnny Walker Candles last night. They burnt for hours and we ran out of whiskey
