An 1970s/early 1980s slang word for saying someone is trying to deceive or lie to you. It could also be used as a way to say "he/she's just kidding around!". It can be used in a positive or negative context. Usually used a lot in the American Television series "Good times", also used in the well known song from the Bee Gees "Jive Talkin"
Jiving means lying, trying to deceive, or kidding around.
Person 1: "I got the job!"
Person 2: "Man, You jivin'!"

Person 2: "stop jiving! i know you didn't!"
A kind of walking or dancing that is like crumping in motion. This term was originally used in "Maniac Magee" but no one knew what it meant then. Its the most gangster you can get without being gangster. Just bend, cross your arms, maybe snap your fingers, and keep walking.
So i was sitting by the door at a St. Annes dance last Friday night, and these two girls from Station came dip-jiving into the room thinking they were all gangster.
A person who seems scary but once you get to know them, can be a bunch of fun to hang out with. He/She is mostly introverted and are the brains of their friend groups. They are great leaders and will do anything to get the job done.
