The theory of iWalking consists of a phenomenon wherein one will listen to music via a portable device, such as iPods, MP3s, Zunes, etc. When one is iWalking, it is not uncommon for the iWalker to reject offers of rides, as they wish to chillax and groove to the beats of their favourite singers. iWalking consists of alone time, freedom, and personal thought-collection.
Mom: I can give you a ride

Me: No, it's okay, I'm just going to walk. *puts headphones in*

Mom: But it's freezing, I'd rather drive you.

Me: NO, WOMAN, I'M iWALKING!

Get the iWalking mug.
A phenomenon common in places where a lot of people use mp3 players with headphones such as the iPod, Zune or whatever. The user plays the music so loud and is so engrossed in what they're hearing that their footsteps start to echo the bassline or lyrics of the song, to the point where they look pretty stupid.
iPod :ser: *vague ring of music as they walk past in a weird wat*

Non iPod User: Why's he walking like that? He looks stupid.

iPodless iPod User: He's iWalking.
