121. Rethuglicans
Re-thug-li-cans : the plural of rethuglican.

Rethuglicans are the political enforcement thugs used as tools by wealthy individuals associated with big business and their political agendas. Their dogma is that of capitalism and anyone who questions the dogma is attacked voraciously as ignorant and is considered a terrorist, communist or completely insane.

The Rethuglicans primary concerns are the protection of wealth of the super rich, which have mostly inherited wealth akin to hereditary rule over successive generations. A typical part of their dogma is their indoctrination that all life is based on survival of the fittest, see Social Darwinism and Fascism, and only the fit deserve to exist. And their concept of those fit for the environment are those who have wealth, while all those who are poor are simply supposed to work for works sake in producing more wealth for the wealthy. Anyone who isn’t willing to work for the corporate agenda is a parasite and should be removed from society as an unfit whiner.

The dogma of rethuglicans is that their utopia can be achieved if the constitution didn’t exist and every action taken by an individual in society was motivated for the sole purpose of generating profit. The taking of profit from another person by force if necessary is acceptable as long as the people are not part of the wealthy establishment they represent. A person incapable of defending himself or herself obviously doesn’t deserve anything and should be ...

122. CTY Depression
The horrible, bittersweet depression one suffers after leaving CTY. Most common in Squirrels, who finally have found their place, and Nomores/Nevermores, who have trouble accepting that they can't come back next year. CTY Depression/Withdrawal is caused by the rough transition from a total, glorious immersion in CTY to the "real world" and all its downers.

Symptoms include (but are not limited to): Bawling your eyes out at random intervals for six months, feeling incredibly lonely until your friends email you back, obsessively amassing canon songs, crying upon hearing American Pie, Nightswimming, Stairway to Heaven, Forever Young, etc., writing/rewriting your final Passionfruit speech, severe hug (and in rare cases make-out) withdrawal, daydreaming about CTY almost constantly for at least until school starts, feeling alienated from family/friends, and the "outside world" in general, constantly thinking you are going to run into CTY friends everywhere you go, making jokes only CTYers understand ("Frank Wang swung his lanyard once, afterwards he decided the world didn't need another Grand Canyon"), feeling nutritionally incomplete without potatoes, randomly quoting Monty Python, insisting 42 is a square number in school, bursting out laughing when you hear any word that sounds like "Anita," "Tuvin", or "Schlecter", feeling naked without a lanyard, panicking on Thursdays when you realize you aren't carrying a towel, becoming convinced that every cold you have is a case...

124. Clifton, VA
A small civil-war era town in Fairfax County, originally known as Devereux Station in the 1800's. Many battles during the Civil War were fought near this town, such as in Bull Run. The town grew in both size and wealth dramatically in the late 1800's and early 1900's, due to increased tourism, and it's reputation as a Progressive Era town, housing the Ivakota Farm reform school. The town fell into disrepair during the Great Depression, and by the 1960's, had become nearly abandoned. As growth from Burke and Fairfax encroached on the region in the 1970s, laws were established permitting a minimum of 5 acres per home, prohibiting suburban growth in the town. The post-modern movement sought to preserve Northern Virginia's history, leading to revitalized interest in the town. As more and more wealthy residents moved in, home prices in the immediate area began to rise dramatically, and gentrification began in and around the town. In fact, through the 1970's, Clifton became known as a vacation spot for those escaping the stress of D.C., which can be seen in some of the era's homes, which resemble ski lodges. Throughout the 1980's and 1990's, the area surrounding the town became heavily built up, creating a whole new family atmosphere in the town, leading to the creation of events such as Clifton Day, The Clifton Homes Tour, the New Years Eve sleigh ride, The Clifton Car Show, and the Haunted Trail. In the 2000's, the town continued it's rise to become a popular tourist destinati...

125. German Shephard
The German Shepherd Dog (GSD, also known as an Alsatian), (German: Deutscher Schäferhund) is a breed of large-sized dog that originated in Germany. German Shepherds are a relatively new breed of dog, whose origins date to 1899. As part of the Herding group, the German Shepherd is a working dog developed originally for herding sheep. Because of their strength, intelligence and abilities in obedience training they are often employed in police and military roles, in forces around the world. Due to their loyal and protective nature the German Shepherd is one of the most registered of breeds. Shepherds were bred specifically for their intelligence, a trait for which they are now renowned. They are considered to be the third most intelligent breed of dog, behind Border Collies and Poodles. In the book The Intelligence of Dogs, author Stanley Coren ranked the breed third for intelligence. He found that they had the ability to learn simple tasks after only five repetitions and obeyed the first command given 95% of the time. Coupled with their strength, this trait makes the breed desirable as police, guard, and search and rescue dogs, as they are able to quickly learn various tasks and interpret instructions better than other large breeds. German Shepherds have a reputation for aggression and have been banned in some jurisdictions as a result. In the United States, German Shepherds are responsible for more random bitings than any other breed, and have a known tendency to attack sma...

126. angeurysm
The intense and immediate rage you feel when your boss, co-worker, family - any human, does something so inane you feel as if your brain is going bleed spontaneously.
True story - After being on hold to place an order, the customer service rep located somewhere in the mid-west told me they don't ship out of the United States. I tried to explain that New Mexico was between Texas and Arizona, but definitely north of the Mexican border. Despite my geography tutorial, she didn't believe me and hung up on me - I experienced an angeurysm!
