Phrase used by teenagers in Ireland , especially rural areas . It means that they play for their county in Hurling or football . Despite there only being 15 players per Team , you’ll see several hundred of boys saying „ I play county „ in an attempt to impress girls . It’s a load of bollocks used by immature teens trying to come off as somewhat special despite all being having the same goal of grabbing a quick meet and a nude of an unsuspecting girl
