The Cow is the hottest place in Reisterstown. If you are visiting and dont know where anything is, ask for it in relations to The Cow and you'll find everything. It is basically the center of life in Reisterstown. Everyone goes there to hang out. That could also be because there is nothing else to do.

When you talk about Franklin, you usually mean the High School or Middle School. Almost everyone you know goes there. If everyone you know dont go there, you know at least one or two people who do.

Everyone in the Reisterstown/Glyndon area go to The Pool. By The Pool, I mean Glyndon Pool. Everyone goes there over the summer. It's a good place to see old friends and people you dont want to see. You can start a bf/gf relationship there within the first weeks of summer and then watch it fall apart by the end. Near the end of May, all the 8th graders from SHS(Sacred Heart School for you non-Reisterstowners) will be relaxing there until the rest of the school gets out. If you see people jumping into the pool with all their clothes on, its those SHS people.

Santoni's really means something. In the summer, people walk there from The Pool. They go even tho its one million degrees just to get snapple or a muffin. One tradition many have is the classic Mentos and Diet Coke. Everyone who goes to Santoni's in the summer...

It's a pool for swimming. It usually has diving boards, lifegaurds, and a shack to by stuff like swim suits, towels, etc..Sometimes, it has a shallow end and a deep end. This type of pool is usually an outdoor pool(mostly recommended for the Summer or hot weather) also called a Public pool. There are also indoor pools. They are just like swimming pools but they are indoors and usually heated and if you want to swim in the winter or in cold weather, these are most recommended.
Also, there are private pools(indoor or outdoor)they are swimming pools that are private and most of the time, they do not have the things that a public pool has. No one can enter unless the owner of the pool says it's okay.

The act (sports event) of going to a wave pool and riding an inner tube into a crowd of little black kids knocking over as many as possible. Since they usually hang out in packs of ten around the shallow end of the pool, this makes it easy to gather speed and knock many over without losing too much momentum. Doesn't work with little white kids because they usually smarten up and move to another area of the pool after a couple of strikes, leaving the path to the niglet "pins" unhindered.

A great place to live if you want to isolate yourself from civilized society. with a population well under a population above theirs Dimboola accommodates for all of those who frequently come in and out of phych wards.

Dimboola is famous for it's train 'play ground' where often 'train' noises are heard from its engine room. Although sometimes those who were making the train noises don't clean up after themselves so a notice was put up asking all of those 'honking' the train horn to clean up after themselves.

Dimboola has a pool but no one uses it for swimming since one of it's locals decided urinating in it would be of much more beneficence.
