look up any word, like bootylicious:
1. want-to-know basis
Opposite to the need-to-know basis. Bypassing the security of this tight security method, in which information is only given to those who can present a good case for knowing about a project; this basis allows those who "want-to-know" to fight those who say they do not need-to-know.

John: You don't have a need-to-know, girlfreind!

Leslie: Right, but I am on a want-to-know basis, dawg!
2. highway women
I need to know what this means...somebody called me this. They acted like I should know what this mean.
Highway Women is one who i don't know.
3. dnntk
Abbreviation: Did Not Need To Know.

Primarily chat lingo.
Hann-13234-: OMFG I Want to F*** John so badly

Lookthatway: DNNTK
4. Then I took an arrow to the knee
A popular internet meme which has derived from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, in which town guardsmen will often say to the player "I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took an arrow to the knee".
The meme is often used as a response in forum posts or YouTube comments, particularly to people thinking of past events in their life.

Guy 1: "Look at my new Gamecube!"
Guy 2: "Yeah I used to have one of those"
Guy 1: "...Then I took an arrow to the knee"

Or as a way of expressing the fact that Skyrim is the game to be playing right now. For example:

YouTube comment from 2008 - "GTA IV is the best game ever! I'm gonna play it forever!"
Reply to the comment from 2011 - "Then I took an arrow to the knee."
5. I Want to Know What Love Is
Famous power ballad by Foreigner. If you only ever listen to one power ballad in your lifetime, listen to "Wind Of Change" by The Scorpions. But if you listen to two, check this one out.
I gotta take a little time,
A little time to think things over
I better read between the lines,
In case I need it when I'm older
Now this mountain I must climb,
Feels like the world upon my shoulders
Through the clouds I see love shine,
It keeps me warm as life grows colder
In my life
There's been heartache and pain
I don't know
If I can face it again
Can't stop now,
I've travelled so far,
To change this lonely life
I want to know what love is,
I want you to show me
I want to feel what love is,
I know you can show me
I'm gonna take a little time,
A little time to look around me
I've got nowhere left to hide,
It looks like love
Has finally found me
In my life
There's been heartache and pain
I don't know
If I can face it again
Can't stop now,
I've travelled so far,
To change this lonely life
I want to know what love is,
I want you to show me
I want to feel what love is,
I know you can show me
I want to know what love is,
I want you to show me
(And I wanna feel)
I want to feel what love is
(And I know)
I know you can show me

6. can i speak to you son
If your dad is cool and he says it, he's pulling you aside to have a confidential "coaching" moment, while saving you the embarrasment of having your friends hear the whole subject.

Can also be said to someone about your own age who is being a bit naive, for example about a girl who might be bad news, but who your homey is starting to get caught up in. You might say to him "can i speak to you son" as a way of letting him subtly know he might want to talk to you because there might be something you know that he might want or need to know.
Your unsuspecting friend: "Man, I don't see why all them other dogs be saying that girl is a golddigger! She seemed nice, and very interested in me."

You: "can i speak to you son"
