Signs of a homance often include squealing, hugging, inside jokes, strange coincidences, a secret language, bruises from affectionate actions, behavior seeming odd to anyone outside the homance, and having to explain that neither one of these girls are a lesbian. Example:
Guy 1: Dude, why did those two girls just look at each other and scream and run across the hallway into each other's arms? Guy 2: Oh them? Don't worry about it, they have a homance <3. |

A relationship, or romance in which the primary means of communication is via text messaging. This realy avoids all those awkward feelings and emotions and fully spelled words. So that new guy I met at the other night, we're totally in a textmance right now. He texts me like every day, all the time. I really like him. I <3 him.
