What occurs in many abodes when a visitor is about to arrive. A cross between hiding and tidying with a definite leaning toward the former.

The annoying habit of housemates or partners hiding your stuff when tidying up.
You spend ages looking for your keys only to find that your housemate has unhelpfully "tidied" them up by putting them in a drawer - A useful question to ask before a lengthy search is "Have you been hidying up again?".
