An excellent word. It is to be used in place of words such as "hurrah", but not in place of words such as "dog" or "pineapple".

First heard on the BBC radio show "Bleak Expectations".

Herrman

Herr Man - a younger man that peruses women who are usually a minimum of 10 years his senior. The opposite of a cougar. A Herrman is bright enough to recognize the benefits of an "experienced" older woman who expects nothing more than a great sexual encounter.

He is definitely a herrman. He never dates a women who is less than 10 years his senior

'Harrumph' is said as a word as apposed to it being a noise that is made.
