Exploding Head Syndrome

A common sensation where one perceives the sound of an explosion, the feeling of a brick hitting their face, or another abrupt sensory impulse that jolts them awake, only to realize they were imagining it. This typically occurs as one is about to fall asleep, when one begins to dream before their body can enter a state of nocturnal atonia.
1: "...gah!!"
2: "Holy shit...! You good, babe?"
1: "Ah... yeah, I'm fine. Just an instance of exploding head syndrome."
2: "Well, good thing your head didn't actually explode, eh?"
1: "Heh... definitely."

Exploding Head Syndrome

The sensation of hearing a very loud noise in the middle of the night, typically when half-conscious. However the sound never actually happened. Sounds range from explosions and gunshots to even human noises. Rarely, there is a visual phenomenon accompanying the noise, such as a flash of light. The exact cause of the syndrome is unknown.
I woke up at 5am from a loud crashing sound, but I think it was just Exploding Head Syndrome!

exploding Kushner head

An out-of-the-blue fantasy many have had while looking at Jared Kushner’s strangely expressionless face on TV.
The camera zoomed in to catch him blink as he was standing next to his father-in-law, when the unexpected image of “exploding Kushner head” entered my mind.

Power Couple

A relationship between two people who are equally as cool as each other. They are as individually awesome and fun to be around as they are when they are together.

Neither one depends on the other for their feelings of self worth- they know in their heart that they are just as valuable to the world as the other. Good looking, optimistic, and sparks a light in the world that people recognize that goes beyond a normal relationship.

In a power couple, if one person is flawed, the other person makes up for their weaknesses in strength. Together they are the epitome of what anyone would desire in a relationship. They encourage goodness in the world and make it a better place by being together.
I'm a fan of those two, they are such a power couple, the epitome of what anyone would want in a relationship.

I am envious of them because they are a power couple.
