They treat metal as if it was there own country club, It takes a special kind of metal head, to be a metal geek, usually ghostly white and pimply looking, one can recognize them from there distinct unhealthy overzealous love of Slayer, and there fondness for Swedish death metal bands, they tend to loath the metal bands, Metallica, Trivium, Bullet For My Valentine, As I Lay Dying, and Avenged Sevenfold, basically any metal band that has to much success, some of the most hardcore metal geeks, have even turned on Slayer, because they won a Grammy.
Dave wearing his Children of Bodom t shirt, walks up to Daniel and says. "Hey dude, check out my band Wargayzm, our band makes fun of Trivium, and stuff." Daniel reply's "DUDE, you are so fat, and have red frizzy hair, im not buying your crappy CD" Dave is the epitome of a "metal geek".
5. Hardcore Gamer
Someone who plays video games as a primary hobby. They tend to spend large amounts of time playing games, often in excess of two or three hours a day.

Hardcore gamers tend to care less about graphics then casual gamers. While some specialize in a single genre, they typically have fairly diverse taste in games, frequently playing a wide variety of games from different genres. They'll often seek out obscure and older games, based on word of mouth or positive critical reception. Hardcore gamers put good gameplay above all else, and don't mind if a good game has poor (or even nonexistent) graphics, sound, characters and plot.

The stereotypical hardcore gamer is out of shape, and has poor hygene. They spend a lot of their disposable income on video games, consoles, or PC upgrades, and a large percentage of their free time either playing video games or discussing them, online and off. They wear either black clothing, or T-shirts with geeky pop-culture references, often to video games. Their social skills may be sub-par, and they may be less likely than others their age to have many friends, a jobs and a girlfriend/boyfriend. Some of these stereotypes are negative, and they certainly don't apply to all hardcore gamers, but there's a fair amount of truth to them.
"John plays just about every game that comes out. He says he's a hardcore gamer, but I just call him a dork."
6. Geek Girl
A Geek Girl is not necasserily unpopular; quite often they will enjoy the same activities as 'normal' people do (ie. going out drinking, chilling, partying) but they also enjoy other things, that these 'normals' may not.

Geek girls enjoy logo t-shirts, video games, anime (some of them), fanfiction, reading, fangirling, writing and pop culture references.

They quite often have a good sense of humour and are interesting, intellectual (when they want to be) people.
Often Geek Girls can fit into a group of 'normal' girls easily. Sometimes it may come as a suprise that they are geeks. But the term for geek has broadened and often, Geeks are simply regarded as the cool people who simply live life the way they want.

There are hardcore geek girls, but these may often blur into the socially awkward nerds.
Geek Girl (on facebook): Time to go home and play Dragon Age!

Amanda Siefrieds character in Jennifers body is a prime example of a geek girl.
