Gregarious

The funnest word in the English language to use out of context when used in a response to a serious question. It misleads and confuses the interrogator. The real definition means " tending to associate with others of one's kind" but no one in their right mind knows that. When a person is responding to a question it is always best to follow up the statement with "That's why they call me gregarious." Coined from Brad Pitt's line in the movie The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. .
Girl: So what are we exactly?
Boy: Well I've never been one for serious relationships really. Guess that's why the call me gregarious.

greetard

noun: Wal-Mart "greeter"
"No, I don't want to go to Wal-Mart, Phillip. Those greetards always try to put a sticker on my bottled water, so they can feel safer that I didn't shoplift it. Sometimes the greetards even check my receipt when I'm leaving. I don't like being treated like a criminal. Let's go to K-Mart or Target instead."

gregarious loner

Someone who so loves other people that she strictly avoids them, to protect everyone.
Looking down from her solitary balcony at the empty street, she thought warmly of her many friends, and those she hoped someday to meet, glad that they were nowhere near her, happy for the moment to be the gregarious loner.
