A hybridization of British slang of "git" which means idiot or fool, with the ending suffix of "tacular" to describe a situation was being beyond ridiculous to the point of annoying idiocy, though at the same time mildly amusing. That is absolutely git-tacular. The situation grew out of hand to the point of surreal stupidity, it was git-tacular.
