A language in its own right, ginglish is a fluid and dynamic attempt to communicate in German without a substantive competance in the language, leading to a sort of 'cross-pollenation' of the two which neither side fully understands. A few examples of Ginglish:
Wir haben yesterday at Gary's house gehen und wir machen poker. Warum hast du my ticket nicht gegotten? Ich bin ein pig mit wings und ich liebe computer games spielen. |
