Ghosted 

When a person expresses love, interest, or affection for someone or something and the person they are speaking to only says "Ditto", like Patrick Swayze in the movie Ghost.

Ron told his girlfriend he loved her, only to be ghosted by her response of "Ditto".

Grey Ghosted 

The occurrence in childhood of falling asleep or being made to go to bed at a critical moment in a TV show or movie, resulting in never finding out how the plot is resolved. It often haunts one up through adulthood.

From the _Batman: the Animated Series_ episode, "Beware the Grey Ghost," in which Batman recalls how, as a young boy, he fell asleep halfway through an episode of the Grey Ghost TV series. He must now track down the episode and watch the ending in order to solve a series of crimes.

I've never seen the end of Dune. I kept getting Grey Ghosted whenever it was on TV.

Remember the _Eerie, Indiana_ with the tupperware? My mom Grey Ghosted me right at the halfway point, so I never found out if they escaped.

An artificial intelligence crafted by Merlin of Amber in Roger Zelazny's Amber mythology. Noted for its capability to transport people and objects through Shadow.

Ghosted 

When someone you talk to often suddenly stops speaking to you and ignores all your messages. They become a "ghost" since it's like they are no longer there.

I thought things were going great with him and I but he ghosted me...
He won't reply to my messages or Dms.

pre-ghosted 

In the act of Dating. One doesn't even get to the date! For example you exchange messages and texts . Then the person ceases to communicate with youhowever you have yet to even go on the date to even be classified as being "ghosted"

Hey what ever happened with that girl you were talking to on Facebook Did you guys ever meet up? You still talking to her and Did you hit that? "No despite my efforts. We never got to even meet and she already vanished . I didn't even make it to to the actual ghosting phase this time... I guess I got pre-ghosted"
