When regular pajama pants become lacerated and/or damaged in any form beneath the knee region, they can be "repaired" via tearing the pants at the knees thereby creating a new pair of "pajama-shorts" otherwise known as ghetto-jamas. Tareq: "My dog chewed the bottom of my pajamas"
