look up any word:
1. Imperia Online
Imperia Online is a MMORTS. You own an "empire" you get each 1-2 minutes new supplies of wood and other resources even if you are not online. When you get online you can upgrade your buildings to generate more amounts of resources and also build barracks etc to get a bigger army. When you get a bigger army you can pillage other empires to gain even more resources or you can even conquer other players cities.
Guy 1: I'm playing Imperia Online, it's a web browsed MMORTS (explains like above)
Guy 2: That sounds exactly like Travian except that Travian is better and it has more features.
2. Eve Online
What is EVE Online?

EVE is a massive multiplayer online game (MMOG) set in a science-fiction based, persistent world. Players take the role of spaceship pilots seeking fame, fortune, and adventure in a huge, complex, exciting, and sometimes hostile galaxy.

There are a few things that make it very different to other MMO's
1. It is in space and not some RPG style fantasy world.
2. To advance your character, skills are trained. They will continue to train till it is completed if you are online or not.
3. Everyone is on one server (thats over 22,000 players on one server. They are upgrading the entire server cluster in Feb)
4. It is made by a small icelandic company called CCP, not a big American company, therefore CCP listens and interacts with its customers.

"OMG this game is so much better then WoW or EQ, and I dont have to even play it all the time to get good at it, damn this game is cool."

Hey man, have you seen all the awards eve online got?

3. Conquer Online
An addcitive online game where you can choose one of four classes and venture around a virtual world.
Classes are: Archer, Warrior, Trojan and Tao (When you reach lvl 40, you can choose to become either a water or fire tao)
You get to interact with other players around the world and what not.
I just Conquer Online and I'm enjoying it.
4. Tactics Arena Online
An online site where anyone can register for free and get on one of the four servers (however, one, "Revelation" is reserved for paying, or "Gold" members only) and play a strange-yet-addictive strategy game that is sort of like a live-action version of chess. You control several different "creatures" (for lack of a better word) that each have a certain range of movement and attack on the playing field (which vaguely resembles a chess board). Some attack physically, with swords or knives, and some have spell-casting ablilities. All have specific attack strength, a blocking percentage, and a certain amount of hit points. You have a rating, which is affected each time you win or lose. You start out with a rating of 720. You can also be invited to join a "clan" or group of players who can communicate via a private clan chat. The site features a lobby where you can look for other people to battle, and which contains what is basically a chat room.

This site is largely dominanted by n00bs who are trying to figure out how to play, a cadre of Gold members who appear to be constantly looking for other Golds to battle, desperate people looking for cybersex (sample line: "Any hot girls wanna cyber press 333"), spammers and creepers who don't have anything of much importance to say, people desperately seeking to join clans, and average people who just are looking for a good battle.

5. Silkroad Online
An MMORPG which has unique controls but are easy to get used to. People who haven't played other MMORPGs will catch on to this very fast. It is very addicting but gets very repetitive as you go on to higher levels. The game is free forever and has an option to buy items for real money in the game. Such as a pet or a double experience ticket. You will find leveling up much harder and longer in this game then almost any other, but it pays off.

Since it takes a very long time to level up, people have started to make 'bot' programs that play for you. You will not have to do anything while this levels you up. Joymax has started to ban anyone they catch doing this permanently. Before sroBot went pay-to-use, more then 70% of Silkroad users had used a bot. (or at least it is rumored, no actual evidence to support that). Since it is pay now, much less people bot now.

Joymax, the creators of Silkroad Online, are a Korean based company. This is just one of the many free MMORPGs from South Korea but one of the best by far.

The servers which are currently implemented in the game are
(from oldest to newest)

Xian (First Server)
Aege
Troy
Athens
Oasis
Venice (Newest Server)

6. Conquer Online
A free MMORPG that is your typical Diablo style korean RPG. Features *TONS* of grind, morons, bugs, exploits, botters and such. The game is funded by people buying dragonballs which do stuff in game. But when you buy dragonballs, you also buy favors of the GMs, which include but is not limited to: Immunity to banning, ability to get items back after they were fairly taken off you, being able to scam, being able to bot, being able to get people you don't like banned. The game is failing rapidly as the GMs are so blatantly lazy and do NOT listen to player suggestions. Players who have quit sometimes hang around the forums are try to free players from the hell that is Conquer Online.
Would you like to uninstall Conquer Online? HELL YA!
7. endless online
There are two different worlds in Endless-Online. You have, the in-game community that consists of idiots, morons, people, more people, and more idiots. Then, you have the Endless-Online forum community; which is TOTALLY the opposite of the in-game community.(Not really, but you get the picture.)

The game is created by Vult-r using the C+ engine and is currently sponsored by Layered Tech. The game has several admins but the majority of them are not helpful and can really give players a hard time.(Except for Arvid. He's the best.) Many of the admin's handle in-game issues in an unjust manner so don't be surprised when you get jailed or banned without a warning. The admins will not bother launching an investigation. The most effective way of getting out of the jail system, is by talking to an admin over an instant chat messenger and persuading them to let you free.

The endless-online forum community is full of forum trolls. It is definitely not for the weak hearted. You can expect insults and vulgar language to be in every topic you read.

I really don't have much more ...
