Funlocking 

Funlocking is the action taken by a game developer in which all parts to their game that can be defined as "Fun" are blocked by either hours of mind numbing grinding or a wallet draining paywall.

Free to play, Free to pay and Pay to win games are a prime example of developers funlocking games for their own gain.

A blocked part of a game that can only be unlocked through strenuous hours of boring gameplay, or through small in game transactions.

A funlock is a way for game developers to earn some money, usually at the cost of having an unsatisfied community.

Fun-block 

When a person blocks another person from enjoying the greatest amount of fun. This applies to anything which blocks another person from having fun.
