Generally a male and female, both single. They are really fucking good friends and trust each other too goddamn much, they might possibly fuck one day. But otherwise, they're really similar to best friends. They are right on the verge of best friends and best friends with benefits. Lots of people mistake them for being a couple.

the situation arising from a desire to invite one friend to an event which results in a social obligation to invite a large number of additional friends to said event

Inviting Smiley Sue means you have to invite Laughing Lisa, which then leads to inviting Debbie Downer. And if you invite Debbie Downer, you need to invite Smelly Steve. And so on and so on....

Example: "I would love to invite you to my party, Smiley Sue, but doing so would inevitably lead to a friendalanche."

friendtal 

The lending of an item between friends. Similar to a rental it is understood you only keep what you received for a specific period of time. Unlike car or movie rentals friendtals have no late fees. Without late fees sometimes the friendtal becomes what is similar to theft or indefinite borrowing. as the receiving party never gave compensation for what they received.

Guy 1 "Dude where did you get this sick beer pong table?"
