Mispronunciation of faux pas. Heard in Stephen King's Cell.

When used, can either sound idiotic, cute, or hip, depending on the context and user.

Idiotic: "Bro, you should look up uhh... fox pass for me."

Cute: "Mom, what's a fox pass?"

Hip: "Woah, dude, fox pass. Your socks."
