| 25. | Labour Day | ||
A public holiday that falls on the first Monday of September, observed in Canada and the United States (Americans spell "labour" as "labor"). In Canada, this is a "statutory holiday", meaning that no one can technically be forced to work it, but those who are willing to must be compensated with government-specified higher pay. Labour Day, at least in its modern, early 21st century form, does not have any specific, traditional rites or celebrations. It is meant to be a day spent relaxing or recreating, as it celebrates the year's hard labour by workers. Much more common, in other countries, is to have the celebration of May Day (1st day in May), although this is often associated with marches in support of organised labour (unions), and (unfortunately), in recent years, potentially violent demonstrations and actions against wealthy, multi-national corporations. It is safe to say that May Day is not celebrated in the US because of its ties to and sympathies toward socialism and communism. It can equally be presumed that Canada has aligned its workers' holiday with the US for reasons of politics and economics, as well as commercial convenience. "Labour Day is an official day of rest for workers. While May Day is meant to do the same, many workers take to the street instead, marching in support of workers' rights."

| 26. | welfare vampire | ||
An "entitlement" uses the coercive power of government to deprive one of the fruits of his labor and give it to the feckless members living around us in our society. Welfare is one such "entitlement". It is a godless attempt to force charity. Unfortunately for those bent to this defective ideology, socialism, charity cannot be coerced. One can be forced to give, however, but instead of love as the impetus one does so begrudgingly creating the temptation to hate the agent of coercion (government) and the temptation to hate the recipient (welfare vampire). Additionally the recipient is tempted to hate the resource (working citizen) as the agent (government) claims the resource (working citizen) is greedily withholding money that could extricate the recipient (welfare vampire) from the current parasitic state of life more...
Only the welfare vampire can extricate himself from slavery to social cancer (socialism) by working to provide for himself. The welfare vampire, like any other vampire, drifts further into the darkness by gorging himself on the humanity he denies is good. Socialism, a social cancer, promotes destruction of humanity. | 28. | East Lansing High School | ||
A high school that is a mini-UC Berkeley. That said, the atmosphere borders on Stalinism, there are 32432423 arrogant rich white and asians, and less than 10 blacks, all of whom are rich and of African descent. The schoolwork is irrelevant to the real world, and you will get no sleep for a 1.5 GPA. Additionally, there are no hot girls. They all believe that dating is a bad thing, and you will be lucky to see a girl's kneecaps. If you try to talk to the girl and she doesn't glare at you or call you a rapist, that's an ELHS 10 for you. I dropped out of East Lansing High School because there were no hot girls, and at 25, never regretted it
