Fluorescent Adolescent

2. a child who, through overexposure to television, movies and music, grows up too quickly and without substance. By the time they are around 13 they believe they are ready for sex, alcohol, and drugs. The later feel remorse for the childhood that they skipped over.

Fluorescent Hell 

A building in which you are obligated to spend 40 or more hours per week and 90% or more of the electrically produced lighting is emmitted from depressing fluorescent bulbs. These places are generally referred to as offices, schools, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities or even jail.
