Firefox and Internet Explorer will never fit in the same category. Firefox is better than a web browser.

An excellent, under-rated browser. People think only anti-Microsoft script kiddies use it, but in reality, everyone should love it because of Firebug, the most amazing and useful extension ever created.
Firefox Hater: Only n00bs use Firefox! Internet Explorer is just as good!

Firefox/Firebug User: Wrong. Download Firefox and Firebug and you'll see why Firefox essentially pwns Internet Explorer.

A new way to browse the web. Created by Mozilla to compete with IE, automatic pop up blocking, and virus protection are just two of the many dandy little things this baby comes with. You are not forced to make due with only a few things that automatically come with the browser. You are in complete control of it, and many extensions are available for it, including a handy little toolbar extension that has a google search on it, wikipedia search on it, ebay, yahoo, urbandictionary, and many others. Clean layout, makes IE obsolete.
Firefox: internet the way it was meant to be.

A better version of Internet Explorer made by Mozilla. Quite possibly the most 1337 web browser in the world.
Friends don't let friends use IE, get Firefox today.

The best web browser out there. If you are using IE and are reading this slap yourself. It has great features like tabbed browsing, pop up blocker, and most improtantly its fast as hell.
Firefox ass-rapes IE

Many people like to uninstall Internet Explorer if they plan on using Firefox for the rest of their lives, but this isn't possible because IE is integrated into Windows.
However, it is possible to *disable* access to IE using one of the following methods:
1. Select "Set Program Access and Defaults" from the Start menu. Uncheck each browser that you would like to disable access to.
2. From the Add/Remove Programs applet in the Control Panel, select "Add/Remove Windows Components." Uncheck the checkbox next to IE.
I disabled access to Internet Explorer after I installed Firefox.
