Firefox and Internet Explorer will never fit in the same category. Firefox is better than a web browser.
Simply the best browser out there. It will make you wonder why you ever used IE.
Why are you still using that outdated piece of crap IE when you can use Firefox?
An awesome web browser from Mozilla
. It was originally derived from Mozilla's (Seamonkey) code, but now has plenty of coding of its own. It supports W3C
's standards and is quite secure. Best of all, it doesn't have support for Microsoft's security hole (read: gate for hackers to enter your computer) known as ActiveX
, nor does it have most of the problems Internet Explorer
Mozilla will pay anyone $500 bucks for volunteering to fix security holes in its software, which is free (yes, as in speech, but also as in beer). That's pretty generous.
The most kickass web browser out there now (developed by Mozilla). It is so superior in comparison to Microsoft's Internet Explorer. Try it! You'll wonder how you ever surfed the net without it.
You won't be disappointed.
Support open source. Support Mozilla.
The internet condom.
Going on the internet without firefox is like walking into an Al-Qaeda camp with nothing but american flag designed underpants.
Incredibly good browser overflowing with useful features from the good folks at Mozilla
. Tabbed browsing, a near-impenetrable popup blocker and general awesomeness compounded by the fact that you can add just about any feature you want using Firefox's plugin support make for a browser that simply trounces anything else.
The only flaw is the name. They ought to call it Firebox because that'd be seriously awesome.
I can't believe how utterly awesome Firefox is. And yet, if only it were named Firebox, it might be ten times awesomer.
Something noobs will never understand
"lofl firefox? i think i will use intarweb explorar!!!1!1"
An awesome browser that has features that IE neglected. Popup blocking, tabbed browsing, keyword searching... extentions let you do mouse gestures and a lot more.
Oh, did I mention, it's faster too. And it's only 14 MB.
People come to me with their computer problems, saying that IE stopped working. I send them the Firefox as a solution, and later, they always thank me for it.
