corporate feudal society

the slow destruction of national identity into corporate identity. fueled by super pacs, economic distress, and the death of democracy.
the idea of country is over, the idea of company is what counts. country doesnt give me a pay check unless it steals from companies. my company pays for my house, it pays for my insurance, my car, my college education. support your company it has no boundaries but it is the "person" you work for. what a benevolent country i have, it doesnt ask for much, except that i slightly over charge for a product or service i provide to give convenience to the customer. that profit is magnified thousands of times and the fruit of this labor is shared to the workers. the great corporate feudal society has arrived.

neo-feudalism

The phenomenon of corporations taking control of cultures and indiviuals through money, policies, practices, and gatekeeping in general to the point that they control many aspects of everyday private life.
Because of neo-feudalism, I now work 60 hours a week just to keep my job, so I have no life outside of work.

I had to stop smoking/go on a diet/get my tats removed/buy phone service from company X as a condition of employment. Neo-feudalism is killing me.

Under neo-feudalism, those with money and power tell those without "We own your ass."

feudalism

A common social and political hierarchy seen in medieval Europe, Japan, and in various middle schools across the country. A king gives land to his vassals or knights and nobles who in turn give their land to peasants or serfs. In the end, everyone is under the control of several people and must pay them money and homage.
My middle school has a feudalistic hierarchy:

Bob: Dude Joe, give me five bucks, or I'll shun you!
Joe: *quickly gives Bob five bucks*
Fred: Bob break up with your girlfriend and give me five bucks. Joe, you can give me five bucks too, or I will shun both of you!
Bob: *breaks up with girlfriend and give Fred five bucks*
Joe: *Gives Fred five bucks*

Aaaaah feudalism in action...
