Vegetarians are vegetarians for a number of reasons, some including: they don't like meat in the first place, they don't want animals to die for their foods, and plants have no feelings. Vegetarians and Non vegetarians can live an equally long life, whoever said they live 7 years longer is bsing, though Vegetarians are less prone to heart disease and don't eat as much fat as Non vegetarians. Food plants do not contain vitamin B12, and vegetarian diets are usually low in long-chain n-3 fatty acids. In many countries, Vegatarianism is misunderstood, and in some it is even frowned upon. Most countries offer Vegetarians support by writing on food wrappings if it is suitable for vegetarian use. Although shearing sheep for wool does not usually involve the death of the animal, many vegetarians, especially... |

| 16. | Biodiesel | ||
|
Biodiesel is the name of a clean-burning alternative fuel, produced from domestic, renewable resources. Biodiesel contains no petroleum, but it can be blended at any level with petroleum diesel to create a biodiesel blend. It can be used in compression-ignition (diesel) engines with little or no modifications. Biodiesel is simple to use, biodegradable, nontoxic, and essentially free of sulfur and aromatics.
TECHNICAL DEFINITIONS-Biodiesel, n - a fuel composed of mono-alkyl esters of long chain fatty acids derived from vegatable oils or animal fats, designated B100, and meeting the requirements of ASTM (American Society for Testing & Materials) D 6751.
Biodiesel can be operated in any diesel engine with little or no modification to the engine or the fuel system. Biodiesel has a solvent effect that may release deposits accumulated on tank walls and pipes from previous diesel fuel storage. The release of deposits may clog filters initially and precautions should be taken. Ensure that only fuel meeting the biodiesel specification (D 6751) is used. Biodiesel has the highest "energy balance" of any current transportation fuel. The DOE/USDA lifecycle analysis shows for every unit of fossil energy it takes to make biodiesel, 3.2 units of energy are gained. This takes into account the planting, harvesting, fuel production and fuel transportation to the end user. |

| 17. | Comedomes | ||
|
Blackheads, whiteheads, and red spots.
Spelt also as "Comedones" There are two basic types of Acne; non-inflammatory acne and inflammatory acne.
Non-Inflammatory Acne Noninflamed lesions called comedomes, consist of two types of acne: 1. Closed Comedones, or whiteheads, with no visible opening. 2. Open Comedones, or black heads with visible, dilated openings that are discolored as exposed fatty acids are discolored by air. »» See forms of non-inflammatory acne treatment here. Inflammatory Acne Inflamed lesions result when the follicular wall ruptures to produce up to three types of acne: 1. Papules: the mildest form of inflammatory acne this lesion appears as a small and firm lump in the skin. This is often quite tender but unless there are many, rarely obviously visible. 2. Pustule: like papules, pustules are small and round, however, pus is visible. 3. Nodule: otherwise known as cystic lesions, this is the most serious form of acne and is the result of comedone pollutants spilling into surrounding tissue. The body reacts to this by producing pus to halt the spread of infection. This type of acne may cause scarring if left untreated. Medical treatment is advised. |

| 19. | sea kitten | ||
|
A cold-blooded vertebrate animal that lives in water, moves with the help of fins, and breathes with gills. Dolphins and whales are not sea kittens, as they breathe with lungs, though they may be equally entertaining to kill for sport.
Sea kittens are a tasty alternative to eating 'land fish', also known as 'kittens'. Sea kittens are delicious when grilled, baked, or fried, with or without batter. Lemon and seasoned salt are popular garnishments, and sea kitten is often served on top of, or next to rice. Sea kitten is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential to healthy function of humans, and can only be obtained through diet, as they cannot be synthesized through internal chemical processes. Bob hooked a 40 pound sea kitten this weekend. We cooked up 1 lb. and threw the rest away, since we were already full of land fish and saving food is a waste of trashcan space.

| 21. | Pescetarian | ||
|
One who excludes all flying and terrestrial animals from their diet. "Pesce" is the word for fish in Italian, and so a pescetarian is one who only consumes fish and other seafood as a meat source. They also eat any and all fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes, and grains. Many vegetarians consider them to be cheaters for eating the flesh of an animal, and get rather offended when pescetarians call themselves vegetarians. The main reason they get offended is that vegetarians and vegans alike believe that no animal should be consumed by humans, and if flesh is consumed, they are no longer worthy to the grand title of vegan or vegetarian. Another reason they are appalled is the conditions of the animals that are commercially raised and sent to be processed in the slaughterhouse. Pescetarians believe that catching and eating fish in the wild is perfectly okay. They believe it to be humane, sustainable, healthy, and overall very delicious. Fish are always preyed on by other bigger fish, who either chomp them alive and eat them, or swallow them whole. Pescetarians are saving fish from that fate, as well as getting a good source of healthy calories, protein, zinc, omega 3 fatty acids, thiamin, vitamins B6 and B12, riboflavin, selenium, and other essentials the human body needs to stay alive and fit. "Sir, may I interest you in a steak, or a burger perhaps?"
"No, thank you I'm a pescetarian. I'll have the lime-marinaded grilled salmon with a side of steamed rice and garlic-sauteed portobello mushrooms. |
