A word used to describe someone who is acting sad, dark, or melancholy.

A feeling of sadness or existentialism lying somewhere between the writings of Edgar Allen Poe and that episode of Futurama with Seymour the dog.

Dude, I just dont know what to do with my life. Nothing works out ever. Everything just feels so bleak.

This word was made popular in the simpsons episode "The Homer They Fall" were a character Moe referd to a boxer Dreaderick Tatum will fustigate Homer Simpson
