A feeling of total elation and happiness, for any reason. Most often people feel ecstatic at good news, as it is a breif emotion, lasting seconds or minutes at most.
The boy was ecstatic that the girl had agreed to go out with him.

The student was ecstatic, as they had just passed their exams.

1) Characterized as the act of displaying extreme excitement for something that is yet to happen.
2) Being really nice to someone you love by supporting something they wish to do before they do it.
3) The opposite of not loving someone because of a lack of recent quantifiable accomplishments.
person 1: I'm so excited! You are going to do great!!

person 2: Thank you for your support, I love it when you prematurely ecstaticculate! It makes me feel so great!
