look up anything, like your first name:
8. yardhopper
A garage and yard sale enthusiast. A person who spends their weekends driving around looking for "diamond in the rough" items at garage and yard sales.
Being a yardhopper, I now have all kinds of useless junk in my garage.
9. Bisalesual
A term applied to traditional real estate licensees who both list houses for sale and also sell them.

Different from the strict buyer's agents or seller's agent.
John is helping us buy the house he has listed for sale; he's bisalesual.
10. Real Estate Agent
A woman who negotiates the "sale" of some "private property." In other words, a prostitute.
Hey, I was just looking for a "Real Estate Agent" in the phonebook.
11. Foreclosure By Owner
A behind-on-mortgage-payments homeowner that tries to sell their own home, often without a real estate agent (For Sale By Owner). This is a desperate stall tactic, often the last one possible, to delay foreclosure while the homeowner finds a new place to live (parents, friends, apartment, rental housing, etc). Often the house is abandoned the same day the for sale sign is placed in the yard. Observers may also notice the homeowners taking objects that would typically be left behind if they actually intended on selling the home to include: fences; sink fixtures; cabinetry; exterior lighting fixtures; counter tops; and et cetera.

It becomes evident to observers that the homeowners are in no way serious about selling the home, but it is merely a stall tactic to pilfer and move as much value out of the home before they jingle mail the mortgage company. Another obvious sign is that the asking price set for the house is clearly insane and priced unreasonably high so as to not even attract potential buyers.
Husband: Look at the Joneses... that is the 3rd sink fixture I've seen them put on the moving truck today, plus they loaded the fence and left the fence posts!! I went to "ABC-fsbo.com" as listed on the sign they put in the front yard this morning and they're asking 20% more than what they paid for the place at the top of the housing bubble!! They're never going to sell in this real estate market.

Wife: Yep! This has Foreclosure By Owner written all over it.
12. fo' shizzle my nizzle
An urban slang rendering of a common phrase in real estate, "For Sale By Owner."
Fo' Shizzle My Nizzle:
3 bedroom, 2 bath cape cod in desirable neighborhood. Close to schools, parks, and shopping. Asking $149,900.

request for deletion of definition from rancidmonkey:"This definition could not be correct. Real Estate agents, urban or otherwise, would never use slang to advertise. The meaning is also too formal to ever be used in everday conversation, such a word rendered in slang would be."

13. digging
The act of looking for vinyl records (wax) in a non-corporate, non-chain-retail establishment. It may mean mom & pop independent record shops, but could also refer to thrift stores, flea markets, estate sales, record shows, or any other sort of second-hand place for vinyl. If the shop's sign consists of someone's name, followed by the word "Records" ("Jim's Records", "Craig's Records", "Bob's Books & Vinyl"), chances are you'll be digging there.

"Digging" is short for "digging the crates", as most of these shops consist of an unorganized room filled with tens of thousands of records shoved in cardboard boxes and milk-crates of all sorts. "Digging" means to comb, or "dig", through these boxes, in search of great vinyl that has slipped under the radar. Most, if not all of these records, are second hand, and sold at prices well-under that of retail music. Haggling is expected.

The digging process takes hours at a time, then a few hours more on top of that, and anything less indicates that a person is "shopping", and not "digging". Astute diggers will be standing outside a shop as it opens, or showing up at a record show at 6 am, just as vendors are unloading their vans, to try and get the choice picks while one-upping the other diggers. A primary difference between "shopping" for records and "digging" for records is with the latter, you don't know what you're looking for upon entering. You dig, finding interesting things as you go, m...

14. Steering
The act of a real estate agent showing minority homebuyers properties for sale in White neighborhoods only. This act causes a panic sale among White homeowners who fear high crime and stagnating or plummeting values of there own property. This panic sale creates more business for the scandalous real estate agent.
Since real estate steering occurred in my neighborhood and the minorities moved in, my property values have dropped by 10%. Crime has increased by 12% and my homeowners insurance is expected to increase by 15%. I didn’t buy a house to loose money, so I will be forced to sell my house before the property values fall even more.
