| 1. | fucked-up-time | ||
|
A break period between two events where there's too much time to sit around and do nothing and too little time to do something productive. These time periods can range from a half hour to two hours. For my Friday classes, I have Design 102 lecture from 10-10:50 and then English at eleven. Today, in Design 102 lecture we got out at 10:30, so I did not know what to do for about 25 minutes. I figured it be too long to sit and do nothing and not enough time to do something else. It was a fucked-up-time.

| 2. | time | ||
|
noune, the. A rather abstract idea, also called the fourth dimension. Unlike other shortages, a lack of time tends to be welcome for anyone who is not lacking it as the person who is short of time cannot find the time to annoy the people with enough time all the time. However, excess demand can be eliminated by taxing time, so it becomes more expensive and people must spend time wondering how much they want to spend on their time, which costs them time incl. the time tax. I spend rather a lot of time on thinking about time, its definition and why the fourth dimension cannot be chocolate cheese cake!

| 4. | time out | ||
|
An action taken by one friend towards another after being provoked past that individual's threshold or tolerance for annoyance, disagreement, or disrespect towards him/her. An Italian often has a much lower than normal tolerance for aggravation, and will prompt a "time out" by saying "Are you f---ing serious right now bro'?" or "How you gonna come off like that to me?". He will then place the friend (sometimes ex-friend) on "time out" for an indefinite time period, not talking, calling, nor returning phone calls. In extreme cases, the melancholy time-out-ee will try anything to get back together with his/her friend. The exchange of online, often sentimental, greeting cards are a popular option. Jason had had enough... he pulled up next to Manny in his Camaro exclaiming, "That's it bro'. You're on time out!"

It refers to the amount of time that a Hispanic, particularly Spanish people, say they'll be somewhere and the time they are there. If you're gonna meet them at 16:00, the interval is from 16:20 to 18:30 usually, but be sure that they'll show up at least 20min late, i've lived in Spain for 18 years now and I can swear it's always like that. (this is a real conversation I had with a Spanish friend)
him- Why are you mad at me now? me- is your fuckin' watch broken or what? you said you were going to come at nine and it's ten! him- I'm not late enough! I'd maybe be late if I had shown up at twelve. hispanic time... |
