a language white people continue to criticize while simultaneously steal and make profitable
White Boy 1: Ugh, I can't understand any of her tweets and her "ebonics". Can you believe how they just destroy the English language?

White Boy 2: I know, I was just talking to the bae about it.

The heart of AAVE, the part that is shared across most age groups (although they tend to be used most frequently by teenagers) and that link it most strongly to the language's origins in the creole speech of slavery (compare parallels with creole dialects in the Caribbean today or in Hawaii), is its phonology and grammar. These are the parts that tend to be less often diffused to other groups, and that are the most lasting and the most regular. The single biggest mistake people make about AAVE is dismissing it as careless, or lazy speech, where anything goes. As with all spoken languages, AAVE is extremely regular, rule-governed, and systematic.

-John R. Rickford, Stanford University
AAVE/ebonics: "She BIN had dat han'-made dress" (SE: She's had that hand-made dress for a long time, and still does.)

AAVE: "Befo' you know it, he be done aced de tesses." (SE Before you know it, he will have already aced the tests.)

AAVE: "Ah 'on know what homey be doin." (SE: I don't know what my friend is usually doing.)

AAVE: "Can't nobody tink de way he do." (SE: Nobody can think the way he does.)

AAVE: "I ast Ruf could she bring it ovah to Tom crib." (SE: I asked Ruth if/whether she could bring it over to Tom's place.)

At its most literal level, Ebonics simply means 'black speech' (a blend of the words ebony 'black' and phonics 'sounds'). The term was created in 1973 by a group of black scholars who disliked the negative connotations of terms like 'Nonstandard Negro English' that had been coined in the 1960s when the first modern large-scale linguistic studies of African American speech-communities began.

The fact is that most of the vocabulary of Ebonics is from English and that much of its pronunciation (e.g. pronouncing final 'th' as 'f') and grammar (e.g. double negatives, "I don't want none") could have come from the nonstandard dialects of English (WHITE!) indentured servants and other workers with whom African slaves interacted.

Southern Caucasian speech has been referred to as Whibonics (White Ebonics).

Just to emphasize its English origins, I'll point to the fact that most of the vocabulary of Ebonics is from English and that much of its pronunciation (e.g. pronouncing final th as f) and grammar (e.g. double negatives, "I don't want none") could have come from the nonstandard dialects of English indentured servants and other workers with whom African slaves interacted.
African American Ebonics:
Fo Sho (For Sure) / Wuddup or Wassup (What's Up), etc.

Caucasian Ebonics:
Get the Caah (Car) Boston / Who dat deah (Who's that There) / I like to had a heart attack (I likened to have had a heart attack), etc.

A dialect of the English language that is used by individuals that, have difficulty pronouncing certain words, and/or, form a sentence using shortened words with improper verbs. Typically used by low class people but with no relation to wealth. Not a slang.

Has a relation to poor education but leans more towards laziness, if educated. Can be viewed upon as a quick way of making a statement. Became popular in the late 70's and early 80's by poorly educated people that touted an "accept me for me" type attitude.
Christy and me is goin to da sto, you be want'n somin. Nah, I done ate already but let me aks Ricky.

Tanya could you please stop using ebonics.

Ebonics actually goes all the way back to the times of enslavement where Africans mixed their dialect with that of their European captors. Not being able to properly speak the language, slaves would combine sounds and create new words. "Finna" and extension of fixing to is an example of this.
White people will try to appropriate ebonics...just watch.

The usage of ghetto slang via social networks (Facebook, Myspace, AOL, Yahoo, MSN, ect.)
Most often used by people who can write properly but choose not to.
Examples of E-Bonics could be described by using total improper spelling, overusage of capitalization or punctuation, replacing letters with numbers or characters, using confusing abbreviations and most infamously the pound symbol and a short quote.
Examples of E-Bonics:

"@y mAyn3 d15 1$H b3en b0th3r1n Me a1l day"

"WATCHU BEN ON"

"SMH #ohsodamndisappointed"
