A very primative and unbased dialect of the North American Street Ape. The Street Ape, similar to Parrots, are able to mimic the English language spoken by humans. It's impossibe that an animal such as the Street Ape could learn English in such a manner as to understand it and speak it properly, they simply lack the intelligence. But through years exposure, the Street Ape has been able to mimic these sounds, and when combined with their basic dialect of grunts, groans, shreiks, and howls, you get what is referred to as "Ebonics".

Back in the pre-1860's, when the Street Ape population was controlled properly, there were very little instances of violence against humans. Sadly, it was only up until this time period that the Street Apes were actually useful for something. Today, like the feral pig is decimating the unpopulated environment in Australia, the Street Ape is decimating and destroying every large urban setting in the US. The Street Ape has had almost no impact on rural America, because the government feeding stations for the Street Ape are almost exclusively located in inner cities.

It's blatantly obvious that the Street Ape population needs to be controlled, and the species definatly should not be allowed to continue to roam freely amongst humans. The Street Apes should be kept in zoos and in research facilities where they can possibly once again be useful to humans.
The North American Street Ape then proceeded to steal the human females purse, rape her, then go purchase some crack cocaine. While raping the human, the Street Ape howled "Ooo-Wah-Ah-Ah!" in ebonics.

The way you talk when your vocabulary is limited to less then 500 words, just simply add an -izzle, drop a few letters, or misspell completely. Note: George W. Bush does this on a much more sophisticted scale.
Yo Dawg, are you going to the gamizzle?

fo sho!

Pretty much terrible and annoying...the only people that speak it are rappers or "gangsta's", uneducated white people that think MTV is the world, and those emulating aforementioned shitty rappers. The word "gangsta" itself is an ebonic contraction of the word "gangster." In order to make one's shitty music/lack of education seem almost ok but not quite there yet.

Also, an excuse to talk like a total dumbass and say something that would not normally be acceptable but in this case it is unintelligible so said speaker can get away with it.
Jeff-"Yo, i gotsta ta gets me some bling-bling all up in dis bitch so's I can roll on ma twenty-fo's"
Ian-"I swear to god, cut out the ebonics before I cut out your tongue"

a pseudo-"language". the word was created to make people unable to learn english have higher self esteem.
Many people who have immigrated to America quickly learn to speak better english than the ebonic speaking community. No one who speaks Ebonics has ever won a Nobel Peace Prize of McArthur Genuis Grant. Nor will they. Ever. Ebonics is not a language that screams "intelligence"
Only about 7% of the population speaks Ebonics but 70% of carjackers do. About 80% of males who say they are "babydaddy" to someone's children as opposed to being there "father" also do.

a bartering language used by disenfranchised black youth disguised as the common audible sounds of the mentally challenged, used for the illegal trade of: women, money, marijuana, popeyes fried chicken, guns, candy and crack cocaine
ebonics is actually more efficient when there are only 7 possible subjects.

Also called African-American Vernacular English (AAVE)Black English, Black Vernacular, or Black English Vernacular (BEV). A creole of the American English language. Known colloquially as Ebonics, Ebo, or Jive. With pronunciation that in some respects is common to that of Southern American English, as the majority of the slaves' descendants first lived in the South. Spoken by many people of African descent in the United States and ethnic minorities worldwide. Shares many characteristics with various Creole English dialects spoken by people of African descent in much of the world. NOT simply "bad English", as it has grammatical origins in, and pronunciation characteristics in common with, various West African languages.

NOT the same as urban or hip-hop slang ("izzle's", crack-a-lackin'), although urban slang has been greatly influenced by AAVE
Ebonics has contributed to Standard American English words of African origin ("gumbo", "goober", "yam", "banjo", "bogus") and slang expressions ("cool," "hip," "hep cat").

What happens when you take a large minority of people and confine them to run down neighbourhoods commonly called ghettos. Put them in a spot were the most alluring job is the hustling of crack rock and were school is a place were you might get shot, and suddenly a firm grasp on the english language dosen't seem so important anymore.
Check out Ebonics by Big L, some guy already posted the lyrics.

Ignorant slang used predominately by black Americans, though also used by a segment of the white population known as "wiggers".
Ebonics: Fo shizzle my nizzle.
