This is a condition common to those that have served/are serving for the Territorial Army in which they delude themselves with grandeur and demand respect in day to day "civi" life based on the fact they are in to TA.
People with this syndrome do not suffer since a secondary symptom is being utterly oblivious to how they are despised by the real army and civilians alike. Not all members of the Territorial Army have this syndrome, but those that do can be detected by the fact they will bring up the fact that they are in the TA within seconds of starting conversation. Bartender: You waiting mate?
Dean: Ahh, umm, I'll have a double whiskey and lemonade. We don't get chance for all this lazing around you lot do in the TA, this is the first drink I've had in five months. Bartender to regular: What a cunt. Regular: Yeah, TA Syndrome. |

Ta Vae is to be great. Most often used when talking about person (s) that are good at many things that they do. To Ta Vae is to be an Jack of all trades. Ta meaning The and Vae meaning Greatest. When spelled with in two parts it is mainly used when refering to an male.

| 5. | Get Ta Bed | ||
|
The term "get ta bed" is very different from "get to bed". To get ta bed one must do so at an alarming rate. Get ta bed can also be used for sexual purposes. I'm going to get ta bed all over you face!

| 6. | Ta ein Carz | ||
|
To do a Carz is to chicken out, or drop out of something. Like if you are going to the dentist, and you find out you have to take anesthesia, you chicken out, then you have "Taken a Carz". This expression comes from when a 16 year old boy, whose nickname was carz, dropped out of school the first year of high school (vidaregåande). "I was going to become a Millionare. But I decided to drop out of school because I'm so lazy. So now I will become a fat ugly pedophile and live with my parents for the rest of my life."

A ting ta is not only a sound that you can make if you click your tongue fast enough, it is also an 86 year old lady. She has over 21 grandchildren, many of whom all share the same birthday. She is an ordinary, law abiding citizen who unfortunately became addicted to the smell of both petrol and fire at a very young age. Her love for both petrol cans and sparklers can often get her in somewhat trouble with the federal department, but don't forget - she's just a lovely old lady with very very good skin and school girl looks "oops, i dropped the banana...what AM i going to do now? :O"
