digitally gross

The unfortunate happenings during a DVD's viewing when parts of the image start to misalign in large blocks, often resulting in the freezing of the movie.
I was mad yesterday when I couldn't watch all of "Walk the Line" when the DVD messed up; it was digitally gross.
