Is like when a lion swipes at its prey and hooks one its front paw dewclaws into whatever it's chasing or clouting at, so the prey animal just cant escape.

Dewclaws are Up 

Show of approval, Thumbs Up (as the dewclaws of a canine are essentially their thumbs). This is a subtle variation of “Dewclaws Up”.

Dude: Scope those curvacious maidens. I’ll pounce the coal top with the bouncing betties. What’s your ruling on the blonde?

Dewclaws up. Ya wanna draft my flivver?
Bang the pipes by 5:00 or hold peace.”

Translation:
"I’ve got a layover in New York City and was thinking about getting a hotdog in a quaint restaurant.
I’m enthusiastic. Do you want to come along?
Call me by 5:00 or it will be too late."

Cougar declawed 

Any woman in the Cougar age range (40 something) that is attracted to younger men, but is not actively 'hunting' them. Instead she simply admires and desires from a distance.

"I find younger men yummy 'eye candy', but I don't touch, just look. I am sort of a cougar but with no claws. A cougar declawed."

To say something that will shut someone up who’s being catty.

“If that receptionist says one damn thing about my hair, I will declaw her ass so fast.”

"If she starts getting catty, just say something about her husband leaving her for another woman. That'll declaw her in a second."
