Speak is a derogatory term to refer to people either from Puerto Rico or of puertorican decendency or puertorican etnicity. It was first introduced in the 50's in the korean war when white american soldiers and hispanic puertorican soldiers coudlnt understand each other because of the language difference so white men started to reffer to puertorican soldiers as "speak" and also when the puertorican comunity began to emmigrate to the bronx, queens & brooklyn boroughs of new york ( largely the south bronx) they didnt know enlglish so white ppl began calling them "speak". "speak" can be largely compared to the definition of the word "nigger" used in the old days to reffer to african americans. "hey you"

1)Derogatory term for honkies. Mostly used by African-americans, but it is also used by Hispanics, Hindus, and other minorities.
2)White people are the only people that can call whiteies this and not be taken as derogatory, taking a different meaning than the first. "Cracka" would also be acceptable in this case. 3)Tasty, dry, thin, salty bread-based things that are usually square, with lots of little ridges on the edges. Commonly crumbled and placed in soup. They can be dipped in thick, gooey, or watery food such as: peanut butter, melted cheese, salsa, taffy, caramel, etc., then eaten. Also, it can have small food, or small wedges of large food placed upon it. 1):

Don't know. I really wish they would learn to speak English. Yeah me too. You'd think with all the problems they have because of racial hatred that they'd make more of an effort to speak properly. It would most likely decrease the racial divide. I agree completely. |
