A person (typically a teenage male) who gets so upset during video game play that he chucks the remote at things, in an attempt to show that game who's the boss.

Keep away from Steve when he's playing pac-man, he's a controller thrower.

A video game that is so frustrating and difficult that it will make you lose your temper and throw your controller. The result behind thousands of broken controllers, tvs, and game systems.

Guy1: "hey is that a new TV?"
Guy2: "yep."
Guy1: "what was wrong with your old one?"
Guy2: "I broke it playing X-Box. That new video game is a real controller thrower..."

A phenomenon where in a person (usually a male ages 12-49) will chuck a controller out of frustration, temporarily believing the controller to be an animate object capable of feelin pain.....

A video game that pisses you off so much, you have no alternative but to throw your controller in disgust. Otherwise known as Mario Kart.

Buddy 1: We need to get some 4-player Smash Brothers going on.
Me: I've only got 3 controllers
Buddy 2: What happened to the 4th one that was here last weekend?
Me: Mario Kart.
Buddy 1 + Buddy 2: Ooooooohhhhhh. Bit of a controller thrower, huh?

Throwing Controller Pissed 

When someone plays video games and gets so pissed off that they throw their controller in a fit of rage. Sometimes one will have a designated controller just for throwing.

I was playing Modern Warfare 2 last night and I got Throwing Controller Pissed.
