1. Bust a Nutter
To win by over 10 percentage points in a highly contested election with at least 5 candidates. Coined after the results of the 2007 primary election in Philadelphia. Election winner Mike Nutter pulled this off.
We thought the race was going to be much closer, but he really managed to Bust a Nutter through his clever campaigning.
2. Utahism
Call me Ishmael. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me on shore, I thought I would sail about a little and see the watery part of the world. It is a way I have of driving off the spleen and regulating the circulation. Whenever I find myself growing grim about the mouth; whenever it is a damp, drizzly November in my soul; whenever I find myself involuntarily pausing before coffin warehouses, and bringing up the rear of every funeral I meet; and especially whenever my hypos get such an upper hand of me, that it requires a strong moral principle to prevent me from deliberately stepping into the street, and methodically knocking people's hats off- then, I account it high time to get to sea as soon as I can. This is my substitute for pistol and ball. With a philosophical flourish Cato throws himself upon his sword; I quietly take to the ship. There is nothing surprising in this. 3. Great American Coup D'État
An internal coup d'état that occurred in the United States of America on 6 January, 2001 that invalidated an accurate recount of the Florida votes in order to install the despotic dictator George W. Bush as president.
I'll always remember where I was for the Great American Coup d'État - I was sitting horrified in front of my TV screen.
4. hail to the thief
1.Refrence to the 2000 U.S. Presidential Elections where after contested ballot results and recounts in Florida, the Supreme Court decided George W. Bush as President. Some contest that when the ballots were recounted Bush did not actually win the election, thus critics to the process coined this phrase.
2. The title to Radiohead's sixth album which could be in refrence to the above definition.
Three cheers to GW! Hail to the thief!

5. American History
The History of the United States of America. Founded in 1776 by our Founding Fathers including and not limited to General George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and Alexander Hamilton. George Washington wanted to be elected by the people and did not want to be King; he became the first president in 1789 followed by Adams (The only Founding Father who did not own slaves) and Jefferson (Penned the Declaration of Independence, buyer of the Louisiana Purchase.)

Between 1776 - 1860, more states in the West entered into the Union while the North and South became separated due to economy & slavery. After Abraham Lincoln was elected, the South became their own country: Confederate States of America with President Elect Jefferson Davis. Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation which freed the slaves. Civil War broke out at Fort Sumter, climaxed at Gettysburg and ended at the Alamo: 600,000 dead. The Union was preserved. Reconstruction followed.
