"Jesus man, you eat meat? That's wrong"
'Nah, this is a cannaburger.'
"What the fuck is a cannaburger?"
'It's made entirely out of cannabis, kinda like a soy burger.'
"So you made a burger made entirely of weed?"
'Well it can be made of any cannabis products. I'm a canivore.'
"That burger, is entirely weed?"
'Yeah man...sure...but I'm a canivore.'
"Jesus Christ... Hey man, I'm.. ah, hungry, mind if I --"
From Latin cogni- (to know, to think) + -vore (to devour, to consume).
A human who was once the apex consumer of thought, now reduced to being consumed by it. A mind that no longer hunts ideas but is hunted by them — fed pre-processed thoughts by algorithms designed to keep it dependent, reactive, and docile.
Unlike ignorance, which is simply the absence of knowledge, a cognivore had the capacity for deep thought and surrendered it, one scroll at a time.
We didn't lose our minds to stupidity. We lost them to convenience. We became cognivores
