A form of body language what occurs when a person is ignoring you completely. It is usually an action represented by turning your black/shoulder towards the target and not communicating to them even though the subject is obviously attempting to talk to you.
It is usually caused when you do something worth deserving that amount of ignoring such as date raping them, completely disregarding their needs, and, but not limited to, abusing their attributes for your own bitch-ass needs. When you do something completely uncalled for and is very hateful of you for doing that and (s)he ignores you for the longest time.
Or when you try to talk to someone but they just walk away or turn their back towards you. "Dude, stop giving her cold shoulder just because she dumped you." "Megan, why are you giving me cold shoulder? All I did was beat up your dad.... and murder your mom.... and rape your little sister.... thats nothing to be mad about. You know I still care about you right?" |

A tool of rejection in which the giver completely ignores the receiever, thereby giving him/her the 'cold shoulder'. Delilah gave me the proverbial cold shoulder yesterday at work, not even regarding my presence in the copy room.

The cold finga is related to the cold shoulder the cold shoulder is when you dont want to look at or talk to someone so you turn around and face a shoulder towards them the cold finga is when you are talkin to someone through aim and they stop talking to you,it is also related to the silent treatment
The cold finga can only be done to someone over aim though Hey talk to me... ooo i see how it is your to good for me so u think u can just give me the cold finga and ingnore me, this some more bullshit.

The behavior similar to that of the cold shoulder given to Contractors by Bose full-time employees and supervisors. A feeling of distinct alienation once you have found out your contract has not been renewed, yet you are still employed. Wow, that cashier was so frigid, she was giving me the bose shoulder.

Similar to the Cold Shoulder, the cold backpack is when you are trying to find a seat on the bus and people put their baggage next to them on the seat to stop you from stealing their one seated glory. When you are riding a public transportation system, such as a school bus, and someone who wants to sit alone nonchalantly pushes their backpack to the outside of the seat to shun and/or reject the possibility of sitting with them. Guy on Cell Phone walking onto bus: "Yes Mom I did my homewor... hold on this freshman bitch just gave me the cold backpack, I'm gonna have to empty a leg on this douche bitch.”
