When one cannot fall asleep due to the sheer excitement of what is to come the next day. A common case of children not being able to fall asleep on Christmas Eve for the excitement of seeing what toys they will unwrap the next morning. I was suffered from Christmas Eve Syndrome last night because I was too excited to see my girl the next day.
