A suburb of any large urban city, in which the residents claim they are actually from the urban city they surround when actually they are being faggots and live 45 min to an hour away from the city limits. Kids in college who live in these 'boomburbs' usually associate themselves with the urban city in attempts to sound 'cool,' when in reality, they are being faggots. What many people don't address when describing Chicago is that the majority of white people in this city are very obviously ignorantly and at times maliciously racist. Also the general culture of this city shows hostility, pretentiousness, and extreme cultural narrow-mindedness. In any area of the city, people are overly sensitive to outsiders, even in areas that are mostly inhabited by people from the suburbs, such as Lincoln park. Anyone who fails to see this either benefits from the white privilege, is part of one of the many cliques, or is sociologically and culturally blind.

The city is first among the major dental and medical training centers in the United States. It is also home to the sprawling Illinois Medical District on the Near West Side, which includes Rush University Medical Center, the University of Illinois at Chicago medical center, and John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, the largest trauma-center in the city and the basis for the hospital in NBC's popular drama ER.

The University of Illinois College of Medicine at UIC is the largest medical school in the United States (1300 students, including those at campuses in Peoria, Rockford and Urbana-Champaign). Chicago is also home to a large number of nationally recognized medical schools. Most people from Evergreen Park, Oak Lawn, Palos, Orland, Blue Island, Chicago Ridge, Burbank, Alsip, Hometown, Bridgeview and other surrounding suburbs think that they are from Chicago but they're not and every real Chicagoan hates them.

If hell could freeze over, it would be Chicago. Horrible public transportation - CTA sucks, if moving there, I suggest you take a car. The weather is miserable, and not just the winters. Oh yeah, and check out the grey, endless flat landscape, inspiring isn't it?
Oh, and don't get me started on the local politics, corruption at its worst. Its most famous gangster, Al Capone, was actually from Brooklyn, moved to Chicago and realized how easy it would be to take advantage of its people.
After hearing so much about how great Chicago was from friends, I came to find out that none of them actually lived in the city. They all live in the fucking suburbs. Hmm, I wonder why?
I must say though, the only redeeming feature of that city is lake Michigan, but I'm sure if given the chance they'll find a way to screw that up too.
