Verb - preceded by the consumption of copious amounts of alcohol; the act during which an individual loses one's keys, cell phone, wallet, and/or identity. Loss of memory is to be expected. In extreme cases one may wake up in another state, attempt grand theft auto, or get up on a fatty; all while being the life of the party/event, even if it is for 10 minutes. May also lead to the commissioning and winning of slap bets, along with other felonious activities. Named after the great Michael Barnabas Evelyn Carroll.

Something that sounds incredibly stupid when written down, more so than when it is said.

The school sent me a letter the other day telling me I was suspended. When they explained in writing what I did that was wrong, it sounded so ridiculous, it was a carpoose of stupidity.

Carpool King

Carpool King (or simply CPK) is a term used for a person who is very sensitive to the environment and would like to carpool versus driving individual vehicles to the same destination. CPKs enjoy the company of others in the vehicle as it promotes great conversations and makes for a very enjoyable ride versus driving in your vehicle alone. And thus, CPKs are very well respected for both their concern for the environment and the conducive ability to facilitate conversations and to make the car ride more enjoyable. Every large group greater than 3 should have a CPK.

Mark : Yo Whadduppp! I'm jonesing for some Pho - let's hit up Pho Shizzle, aite? You feeling me bro?

carpool tunnel syndrome 

Temporary, post 9/11 restriction imposed by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey requiring all cars entering the Holland and Lincoln Tunnels during rush hour to have more than one occupant. This caused NYC-bound drivers to pull up to complete strangers at NJ bus stops and ask if they wanted a ride into the city. Sharing of tolls was optional.

Bus stop standee 1: "Did that dude in the Mercedes just ask you if you wanted a ride into the city?"
Bus stop standee 2: "Yeah. Must be carpool tunnel syndrome. I might have accepted, if he didn't have a boner."
